Never ever use a steam mop on wood laminate or wood floors. Steam is water. Forcing hot water (steam)into your floors, over time, will cause your wood laminate and hard wood floors to warp! There are other products made for these type of floors that are much safer. I have laminate floors...I have the shark steam mop. I have laminate floors in my kitchen and tile in my main entry. I don't think it cleans very well. I have resorted to mopping the floors with a regular sponge mop, then going over the floors with the steam mop to get rid of the streaks.
